Celebrating 30 Years of Quadro Communications

2025 is a big year for Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc. – it’s our 30th anniversary! Since March 9, 1995, Quadro has grown from the historic Blanshard Municipal Telephone System (started in 1924) to a trusted provider of internet, TV, phone, and cell services for homes and businesses.

From Telephones to Fibre Optics

Looking back, it’s amazing how far technology has come. In the early days, telephones were the cutting edge, helping people stay connected like never before. By 1995, when Quadro was founded, the internet was entering homes, and dial-up was the norm.

Then came DSL and high-speed internet, transforming how we connected—enabling faster browsing, emails, and downloads. Fibre-optic technology boosted speeds even further, powering seamless streaming, video calls, and cloud services.

Today, smartphones and smart homes keep us more connected than ever. Through all these changes, Quadro has been right here, ensuring our customers always stay connected.

Celebrating With You

For 30 years, Quadro has been more than just a telecom company. We’re a part of the community. We’ve grown with you and because of you. Many of you have been with us from the start, and we’re so grateful for your support.

Over the years, Quadro has proudly given back to the communities we serve through sponsorships and donations. From supporting local sports teams and events to contributing to community projects, we’re committed to making a difference where we live and work.
